Wyoming Technology Licensing LLC sued Apple in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas Monday, saying the company’s voice assistant infringes its U.S. Patent No. 8,521,766, which Wyoming has owned and held priority over since at least November 2008. The ‘766 patent provides a method for software and computers to retrieve and provide information, according to the complaint.
