Apple, Google Fast Track Casino Case Appeal Doubted by 9th Cir.

A group of cases asking whether Apple Inc., Google LLC, and Meta Platforms Inc. can be held liable for hosting illegal gambling apps may have been appealed too early, a panel of Ninth Circuit judges said Monday.

The three-person panel questioned during oral arguments whether the cases were properly fast tracked to the San Francisco-based federal appeals court through an “interlocutory appeal” order from a lower court judge.
