Apple Gets Claims Trimmed in Suit Over iPhone 7 Performance

Apple Inc. convinced a federal judge to cut a handful of claims from a proposed class action alleging the technology company deceptively advertised operating software upgrades that caused performance issues in iPhone 7s.

The US District Court for the Northern District of California on Thursday trimmed claims under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act as well as a handful of consumer protection claims.
