Apple Accused of Omitting Overtime Pay From Employees With Stock

A former Apple Inc. worker has sued the technology company, accusing it of mismanaging overtime pay for employees who owned vested restricted stock.

Plaintiff Francis Costa’s collective action complaint was filed Thursday at the US District Court for the Northern District of California in San Jose.

Costa worked as an AppleCare Business Chat adviser for seven years, first in Florida and then in South Carolina. During that time had a restricted stock option with the company.
