Apollo Restructuring Judge Answers Recusal Bid Over Skadden Ties

A Delaware judge expressed skepticism Monday about a legal filing suggesting her ties to a major law firm should disqualify her from litigation over a $570 million payout to the founders of Apollo Global Management Inc.

Vice Chancellor Bonnie W. David responded by letter to the second recent filing targeting her past job at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, which advised Apollo on a restructuring related to a case she’s overseeing.
