Apollo Global Affiliate Defeats Comcast’s Contract Breach Claims

Comcast Corp. didn’t convince Delaware’s Chancery Court on Tuesday that its customer service provider, Apollo Global Management Inc. affiliate CX360, improperly ended its deal with Comcast as retaliation for the telecom giant working with Google.

Comcast’s master services agreement with CX360 Inc. granted each party the right to terminate for convenience, Vice Chancellor Lori W. Will said in a post-trial ruling. And CX360 didn’t act in bad faith by proposing new terms to continue providing services after learning Comcast planned to replace CX360 when the contract expired, Will said.
