Freedom Network USA convinced a federal court to provisionally bar the Trump administration from prohibiting federal funds for organizations with a mission related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
The nonprofit has standing to block an anti-DEI certification provision and funding conditions for grants to provide services for victims of human trafficking, the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois said in a Monday opinion partially granting the plaintiff’s preliminary injunction motion.
