Anti-DEI Group Challenges American Airlines Contracting Program

American Alliance for Equal Rights, a legal advocacy group led by conservative activist Edward Blum, sued American Airlines Inc. in federal court Tuesday claiming that the airline’s diversity policy in contracting violates civil rights law.

American Alliance has been on a campaign to stymie diversity programs through the courts. This is at least the second challenge it has filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
