Two crisis pregnancy centers and South Dakota officials will ask a federal appeals court to overturn a decision upholding an order blocking a pre-abortion counseling requirement, they told the issuing trial court.
Gov. Kristi Noem (R), Alpha Center, and Black Hills Crisis Pregnancy Center informed the U.S. District Court for the District of South Dakota that they will appeal its refusal to dissolve a 2011 injunction against the requirement to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
