Anthem, Inc. beat a Fair Labor Standards Act suit from a collective of registered nurses who review insurance claims and alleged they were improperly denied overtime wages.
The nurses meet FLSA standards exempting them from the law’s overtime protections, meaning the company had properly classified them, Judge Jessica G.L. Clarke said in a Monday opinion for the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
