Anschutz Entertainment Group Inc. must face a proposed class action alleging it illegally collected and disclosed consumers’ data through tracking technology on its website.
Lead plaintiff Silvia Garcia had standing to sue, despite her status as a “tester” of websites for privacy violations, and adequately pleaded claims of common-law intrusion upon seclusion and violations of the California Invasion of Privacy Act, Judge Sunshine S.
