Another Ex-Girardi Keese Lawyer Indicted Over Client Funds (1)

Keith Griffin, a former Girardi Keese lawyer, was indicted in Chicago federal court Thursday on counts related to the firm’s handling of client settlement funds.

Griffin was charged by a special grand jury in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois with four counts of contempt of court, one count of concealing knowledge of wire fraud, and one count of concealing knowledge of contempt of court.

The indictment appears to charge him with violating the same orders as ex-lawyer Tom Girardi and his CFO Christopher Kamon, which required them in 2020 to quickly pay Boeing Lion Air ...
