Animal groups and the Food Chain Workers Alliance can proceed in their lawsuit seeking to stop a slaughterhouse and a pig farm from suing under an Arkansas statute to block an undercover investigation of operations, the Eighth Circuit said Monday.
The statute’s “deterrent effect on the investigations is sufficient to establish an injury,” wrote Judge Steven M. Colloton.
