Anheuser-Busch, Ex-Worker Agree to End Medical Leave Bias Suit

Anheuser-Busch Cos. resolved a lawsuit brought by a former employee who claimed the brewing company interfered with her right to take protected medical leave.

Pamela Rockerman and Anheuser-Busch filed a joint stipulation of dismissal with prejudice Tuesday in the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Rockerman alleged she wasn’t provided paperwork to take time off under the Family and Medical Leave Act when she underwent two surgeries after being diagnosed with breast cancer, but was later approved for FMLA leave to undergo radiation treatment.
