American Airlines Can Bring Hidden Fee Case Against Broker

American Airlines Inc. can proceed with allegations in federal court against a Texas ticketing broker that it is engaging in abusive ticketing practices and hitting customers with unauthorized hidden fees.

US District Judge Reed C. O’Connor of the Northern District of Texas denied a motion to dismiss the suit Tuesday, handing a victory to the Fort Worth-based airline.
