Amazon’s Twitch Faces Patent Infringement Suit Over ‘Slide Tool’

Amazon subsidiary Twitch Interactive Inc., known as Twitch.tv, was hit with a lawsuit alleging its slide tool and remote tool box infringe patents held by RazDog Holdings LLC.

Twitch Interactive designs and develops application software and offers gamers the ability to broadcast, chat, and watch video games played in real time, with TwitchTV serving customers worldwide.

Twitch is infringing US Patent No. 9,729,658, entitled “System For Managing Web-Based Content Data and Applications,” and U.S. Patent No. 10,334,068, entitled “System For Managing Web-Based Swipe Module Tool And Software For Scrolling And Paging Through Content Data And Applications,” RazDog alleges. ...
