Amazon’s Antitrust Scandals Targeted by Shareholder Lawsuit

An investor sued Amazon.com Inc. in Delaware on Monday over the fallout of a landmark antitrust action brought against the e-commerce giant by the Federal Trade Commission and 17 states.

The shareholder lawsuit seeks internal files to investigate the practices targeted by the government’s case, which covers claims that Amazon coerces merchants into using its logistics services, exploits “most favored nation” pacts to drive up prices virtually everywhere, and competes unfairly against third-party sellers on its platform.
