Amazon Partners Urge Justices to Skip Arbitration Exemption Case

Amazon.com Inc.'s Flex delivery drivers asked the US Supreme Court not to add their dispute with the online retailer to its docket, which already includes a different case over the transportation worker arbitration exemption.

There isn’t any confusion over how to apply the Federal Arbitration Act exemption to workers like the Flex program drivers, whose jobs include making local deliveries of out-of-state goods for Amazon and subsidiary Amazon Logistics Inc., so the high court shouldn’t grant Amazon’s petition for review, according to the brief filed Monday.
