Amazon Worker’s Class Action Wage Suit Partly Nixed By Court

Amazon.com Services LLC persuaded a federal judge to trim a delivery worker’s proposed class action wage complaint but the court allowed the case to move toward trial on some claims.

Janie Dayana Garcia Garcia didn’t show the proposed class of workers suffered the same injury, the US District Court for the Eastern District of California said in an opinion docketed Monday. But the court granted leave to amend the class allegations and said some of Garcia’s individual wage violation claims can proceed.
