Amazon Worker Holiday Pay Case to Get Colorado Top Court Input

Amazon.com Services LLC and a worker who says the company wrongly excluded holiday incentive pay from overtime calculations are headed to the Colorado Supreme Court now that the Tenth Circuit certified a question about state wage law.

The warehouse worker’s argument “turns on an important and novel question of state regulatory interpretation that has the potential to significantly impact Colorado employers and employees,” so the state’s top court should weigh in, the US Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit said.
