Amazon Owes Jointly Employed Delivery Workers Wages, Suit Says

Amazon.com Inc. and Amazon Logistics Inc. jointly employed delivery associates with two other companies but failed to pay the workers appropriately for all of their hours, a complaint filed Tuesday says.

The online retailer didn’t pay overtime wages to workers who “hundreds of Amazon packages each day” through the last-mile services that jointly employ them, according to the complaint three of the associates filed in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
