Amazon.com Inc. will have to address challenges to its “advanced refund policy” after the online retail giant lost its bid to have parts of a consumer lawsuit thrown out.
A federal district judge on Tuesday denied Amazon’s partial motion to dismiss the proposed consumer class action suit, after finding that its claims of conversion, and alleged “quasi-contract” violations such as unjust enrichment, should proceed.
