Amazon Military Pay Suit Conditionally Certified as Class Action

Amazon.com Services LLC failed to defeat a bid for class status in a warehouse worker’s military-leave bias suit, a Brooklyn federal judge ruled, conditionally allowing the case to proceed with up to 9,000 potential class members.

The ruling advances a case that scrutinizes military leave policy at one of the nation’s largest employers as the Trump administration weighs ramping up National Guard deployments among cities including Chicago and New York.
