Amazon, Drivers Settle Tip Lawsuit After Certification Bid Fails

Amazon.com Inc. reached a deal with its Flex program drivers after they sued, alleging the company failed to live up to its promise to pass along all delivery tips to its drivers.

Lawyers representing the drivers and Amazon—including its subsidiary Amazon Logistics Inc.—said the parties “have reached an agreement in principle to resolve this matter” in a joint notice of settlement filed with the US District Court for the Western District of Washington on Tuesday.
