Amazon Drivers’ $1.47 Million Wage Deal Set For Partial Approval

A group of Amazon.com Inc. delivery drivers should modify certain aspects of a Fair Labor Standards Act wage settlement worth $1.47 million, a federal magistrate judge in Florida said in a report and recommendation.

The proposed deal contains “prohibited” incentive awards and an invalid modification provision, but is otherwise fair and reasonable, Magistrate Judge David A. Baker of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida said Wednesday.
