Amazon Defeats Prime Two-Day Delivery Deception Consumer Suit

Consumers accusing Amazon.com Services LLC of duping them into believing Prime membership guarantees frequent two-day delivery didn’t show that the e-commerce giant made such a promise, a federal judge said.

Judge Kymberly K. Evanson of the US District Court for the Western District of Washington dismissed the lawsuit March 6, finding the consumers failed to plead an unfair or deceptive trade practice with particularity, but allowing them to amend their complaint.
