All-Clad Cookware Suits Sent to Western Pennsylvania Court

All-Clad Metalcrafters LLC and Groupe SEB USA Inc. won their bid to centralize coookware litigation in a Western Pennsylvania federal court, an order by the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation said.

Combining the proposed class suits before one judge is warranted even though only four were pending at the time the companies sought consolidation, the panel said Wednesday.

Plaintiffs in proposed state class actions in California, Florida, Georgia, and Massachusetts federal courts opposed consolidation.
