Enterprise Holdings Inc., Alamo Rent a Car, and National Car Rental are accused of failing to pay overtime wages and paying New York City employees lower-than-average salaries in a proposed class action suit filed Tuesday.
Former employee Michael Odam says he and other employees in New York state regularly worked shifts of 10-plus hours but weren’t paid the appropriate premium under the state’s Spread of Hours law, which requires employees be paid one additional hour of pay any time they work more than 10 hours.
