Ajamie LLP Recovers Attorneys’ Fees In Case Over AT&T Buyouts

Ajamie LLP is entitled to $15 million for its work representing minority investors against AT&T Inc., Delaware’s Chancery Court said Monday, resolving the firm’s dispute with the investors over attorneys’ fees.

Ajamie’s fee-sharing arrangement with lead counsel, Michael A. Pullara, is unenforceable, the court said.

But Ajamie should get paid for performing work on the decade-spanning case with the expectation of getting some of the fee if the parties prevailed, which they did, Vice Chancellor J. Travis Laster said.
