Aja Evans Can Proceed With Sex Abuse Claims Against Chiropractor

Olympic medalist Aja Evans can proceed with claims that a Team USA chiropractor sexually abused her, a federal court ruled, but the judge trimmed Evans’ lawsuit.

Evans filed suit last year against the chiropractor, Jon Wilhelm, and his business Pro Chiropractic. Evans, who won bronze for bobsledding at the 2014 Sochi Olympics, also sued the US Olympic & Paralympic Committee and the USA Bobsled and Skeleton Federation. The USOPC is the nonprofit overseeing US Olympic sports; USA Bobsled regulates competitive bobsledding.

Evans’ complaint said she was sexually assaulted on multiple occasions during treatment sessions by Wilhelm from 2013 to 2018. ...
