A lawsuit against the government by an Oklahoma Air Force veteran challenging his placement on both the US terrorist watchlist and the no fly list has can proceed after a federal appeals court found standing.
The US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit said Saadiq Long adequately alleged a redressable injury—that is, an injury a court can do something about—by claiming he was denied Transportation Security Administration credentials needed for work as a truck driver.
