Air Cargo Firm Files Suit Over IRS Tax Levies After Settlement

Miami-based freight logistics company Cargo Express International Inc. says the government is wrongfully assessing taxes against it despite a settlement.

The company told the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida that it is seeking a refund of wrongfully withheld employee retention tax credits and a declaratory judgment eliminating wrongful assessments from 2011 to 2015.
