AIDS Drug Purveyor Sued For Sharing User Health Info With TikTok

MISTR, a telemedicine provider of the AIDS-preventative known as PrEP was hit with a proposed class action for allegedly sharing sensitive medical information about HIV patients with TikTok and other third party trackers.

The lawsuit filed in the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York alleged MISTR traded the privacy of its consumers—those seeking PrEP and other long term HIV treatment—to expand its advertising reach and profit.
