. Serviceaide Inc., an AI firm which provided IT support to a New York Catholic hospital system, no longer faces a consolidated complaint alleging it was negligent in handling the personal data of patients.
The plaintiffs filed a motion for voluntary dismissal without prejudice Wednesday in the US District Court for the Northern District of California. Catholic Health retained Serviceaide for its Elasticsearch database, which it was working on when the breach occurred, according to court documents.
