Aero Law Group PC has sued another legal services firm called Aero Law Group PLLC for trademark infringement, unfair competition, and cybersquatting.
The allegedly infringing mark, when used in combination with “PLLC,” is substantially identical to the plaintiff’s because “the term PLLC is not or does not function as a mark or a portion of a mark,” the complaint filed in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York on Thursday says.
Both companies provide legal services to clients in the aviation industry.
