ADT Hit With Privacy Suit Over TikTok Tracking Code on Website

Home-security systems provider ADT Corp. shared the personal information of website visitors with TikTok Inc. in violation of the California Trap and Trace Law, a proposed federal class action said.

Courtney Mitchener alleged that ADT installed TikTok’s tracking software on its website, allowing the social-media company to collect information from visitors without their knowledge or consent.
