The Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists defeated a lawsuit claiming older actors were wrongly forced off their health insurance coverage by a 2020 change in how residual earnings are treated, a California federal court ruling shows.

Claims that the union breached its duty of fair representation are time-barred by the National Labor Relations Act’s six-month statute of limitations, Judge Christina A.
