Activision, California Consent Decree Approved in State Bias Row

Activision Blizzard Inc. and California’s proposed consent decree to end sex discrimination litigation alleging the videogame maker engaged in unlawful employment practices against female workers.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Barbara M. Scheper on Wednesday signed the consent decree announced in December to end sprawling litigation between the California Civil Rights Department, formerly known as the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, and Activision Blizzard over allegations the company failed to create a nondiscriminatory workplace.
