Accenture Worker Let Go in Workforce Reduction Denied Bias Trial

A former Accenture LLP senior principal won’t get a trial on claims her termination was caused by bias against her age—59—or constituted pay back for disability accommodations she received.

The ruling Tuesday by the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania shows that managers can discuss a worker’s disability with human resources without running afoul of federal or state discrimination laws.
