A group of Acadian Ambulance Service employees and patients can proceed with their proposed class action after a federal judge adopted a magistrate judge’s recommendation to deny dismissal in part.
The plaintiffs, who seek to represent as many as 2.9 million people caught up in a ransomware attack, can pursue negligence, breach of implied contract, and breach of bailment claims in the US District Court for the Western District of Louisiana.
