Personal injury firm Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Agosto, Aziz & Stogner and three of its partners are being sued by a former associate attorney who was fired while on medical leave for vision impairment issues.
Abraham Watkins viewed Angelina Wike’s “disability and serious health condition as a nuisance,” and chose to fire her over the perceived burden it would place on the firm to maintain her employment, Wike alleges in a complaint filed May 16 in the US District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
