Abortion Pill Challenge Dropped in Texas by Private Groups

Anti-abortion groups withdrew their suit over the abortion pill mifepristone Tuesday, months after the US Supreme Court ruled they lacked authority to bring their claims.

The notice of voluntary dismissal was filed without prejudice, so the plaintiffs, including the Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine, the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and doctors, may be able to lodge their suit again.
