Root beer and cream soda drinkers who allege they were duped into thinking “aged vanilla” beverages contained real vanilla have finalized a potential $15 million class settlement with A&W Concentrate Co. and Keurig Dr Pepper Inc.
The companies had agreed to pay up to $15 million into a fund that would cover claims, administrative costs, attorneys’ fees, and service payments to class representatives. The deal is a “claims made” settlement, meaning the payment obligation hinges on the number of valid claims.
