7-Eleven Workers Win First Nod for Nearly $1.2 Million Wage Deal

7-Eleven Inc. and workers who say it ran afoul of meal break requirements may move forward with a settlement worth nearly $1.2 million after a federal judge gave the deal initial approval.

The deal covers a now-certified class of non-managerial, non-exempt workers employed at the convenience store’s corporate-owned locations in Washington state at any time from June 3, 2019, through Dec. 31, 2022, the US District Court for the Western District of Washington said Wednesday.
