50 Cent Can’t Ditch Counterclaims in Film Publicity Rights Suit

Rapper 50 Cent failed to convince a federal judge in California to dismiss a cross-complaint against him in a lawsuit he filed over the use of his name to promote the movie “Skill House.”

Skill House Movie LLC and production company GenTV LLC adequately pleaded claims for breach of contract, breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, and intentional interference with contractual relations, Judge Hernan D. Vera of the US District Court for the Central District of California ruled June 5.
