Thompson Coburn Adds Another Partner to New Wage and Hour Group

Elissa Gysi joined Thompson Coburn as a partner in its labor and employment practice in Los Angeles, the firm announcedTuesday.

Gysi represents national and regional businesses in employment matters in California, including wage and hour disputes, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims. She advises employers on state and federal labor and employment law compliance and risk management strategies, and defends against PAGA lawsuits, the firm said.

Her arrival follows the firm’s recent addition of a five attorneys on wage and hour and employment litigation team, as well as the June rollout of its national Wage & Hour practice. ...
