A day after Perplexity AI launched its new agentic patent research tool, the company said its users are calling for more expansive search capabilities beyond prior art queries.
The company launched Perplexity Patents on Thursday, describing it as “the world’s first AI patent research agent.” It allows users to research patents with “natural language,” conversational queries instead of complicated keyword searches, according to the press release.
