Microsoft Brings Former Robin AI Legal Tech Employees Into Fold

Microsoft Corp. hired at least 18 former employees of the struggling legal technology startup Robin AI in a further dismantling of a company that had been on the rise, raising $50 million in 2024.

The new hires include former software engineers and AI experts from Robin, such as former chief technology officer Carina Negreanu, now partner group manager at Microsoft Word, and former director of AI Diana Mincu, now a principal applied scientist manager at Microsoft.
