Legal Tech Exterro Grows in Discovery With Divebell Acquisition

Exterro, a legal governance, risk and compliance software maker, said Wednesday that it had acquired data discovery platform Divebell.

Combining Divebell with Exterro’s GRC platform will help customers to better understand their data and comply with the growing number of privacy, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence laws, Exterro said in a release.

Exterro said the acquisition will better position its product for use in “e-discovery, enterprise digital forensics, data privacy compliance, data security and breach response, as well as emerging AI-related challenges such as AI-related legislation and governance.”
