Almost two-thirds of in-house legal teams expect their regulatory workload to increase, and more than half anticipate a jump in cybersecurity and IT governance work, according to a new survey.
“Demand growth is increasingly concentrated in high-volume, high-risk domains that strain traditional legal delivery models,” according to a survey of 135 companies released Monday by the Corporate Legal Operations Consortium and the legal consultancy Harbor.
Sixty-three percent of legal departments said they anticipate more regulatory work, and 58% said they expect a boost in cybersecurity and IT governance work.
